| The Amazing Julie Dibens |

After going through a natural burnout from swimming, Dibens decided to try triathlon. It was apparent right away that she had a natural talent for the sport. In 2000 and 2004 Julie qualified to represent her home country of England in the summer Olympics. Injury would keep Dibens from getting to the starting line in the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics.
In 2007 Julie won her first Xterra World Championship title. Dibens has gone on to win this race two more times, in 2008 and 2009. If you ask her she will tell you that she is still shocked to have won this race three times. Julie is also a 2x UK Xterra Champion also the 2008 Austria Xterra Champion.

Juie Dibens was born in Salisbury England. As a youth Julie competed in swimming races. In 1993 Julie accepted a swimming scholarship from Louisiana State University. While swimming for LSU Julie was a 4 time All-SEC Swimmer and she received All-American honors.
Julie Dibens has started the 2010 season with a win at the inaugural year for the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon.
